Sabugal pepper

A pepper with deep roots in the Sabugal tradition: fleshy, sweet and fruity, with an uncommonly thick flesh that makes it perfect for pepper paste.

About the variety. Flat red fruits of around 200 g, with a skin approximately 1 cm thick. Sweet and fruity flavour, with a sweet profile (level 1). Vigorous plants of determinate habit, with excellent yield. Local variety preserved by Sementes Vivas. Suitable for container growing.
