A classic medicinal herb with white flowers, traditionally used in tea.

Sown directly in the final location; due to the small size of the seeds, mix fine sand to make sowing easier. The crop can be grown in rows with 30 cm between plants and 60 cm between rows.
The crop tolerates various soil types but prefers sandy, well-drained soils. pH should be between 6.0 and 7.5.
The crop requires cool and temperate conditions to grow well, with ideal temperatures between 7 and 26°C, preferring locations with good sun exposure.
This crop does not thrive in very rich soils, so fertilization is only necessary if the soil has low fertility; in that case, some compost should be incorporated.
The crop should not be subjected to drought or waterlogging; drip irrigation is a good option. If the soil has a good organic matter content, the frequency of watering is reduced.
Mulching with organic materials is a good option for the crop, reducing competition between weeds and the crop.
Mites and aphids are pests that attack the crop. Mite control can be achieved through biological control with predatory mites and, if necessary, by applying azadirachtin or sulphur dust (if T<28°C). Aphids are controlled through natural limitation with hedgerows along field borders to support beneficial insects, biological control with parasitoid and predatory Hymenoptera, and, if necessary, by applying potassium soap or azadirachtin.
This crop presents no notable diseases; adequate crop rotations, wide plant spacing, and avoiding excess water both in the soil and on the plants are generally sufficient to address any issue that may arise.
